Nigeria the biggest black Nation in the world and the acclaimed giant of Africa is like a beautiful bride who has become a shadow of herself due to an abusive marriage.
The country Nigeria ( the bride) who is full of life, grace, fertile and fruitful, blessed with minerals and natural resources and fruitful in oil and gas has been assaulted and physically abused by corruption.
This assertion was made to Eagle Hedge news during an exclusive interview with the world oldest boxer and heavy weight champion Bash Ali.
He said "Nigeria is a great country with too much potential and many Nigerians have great dreams but CORRUPT and BAD Ministers like hon. Sunday Dare kill the dreams of great Nigerians and those who can not stand the heat like Champion Anthony Joshua, move abroad to realize their goals while those who are stuck in Nigeria, die with their dreams".
Bash Ali says Corruption has killed the beautiful Nation called Nigeria. Talents are killed in our country everyday, but when the same talents are nurture outside this country, Nigeria leaders will celebrate those talents, but when the same talents come home to place Nigeria at the top of the map for greatness but corruption will say No
According to his his open letter to the minister dated April 19, 2021. Guinness World Record Boxing Championship Fight has never held outside of America so mine will be the FIRST and on the soil of Africa, Nigeria to be precise. This historic Fight will feature the Who is Who in Boxing and will be the most LUCRATIVE in the history of Pay Per View Television (PPVTV) Revenue. It is expected to be watched LIVE on PPVTV in 132 countries apart from PPVTV Revenue in Africa, advertisement, sponsorship and sales of the Fight souvenirs etc. Five Sport Academies with Olympic Size Swimming Pool and a Sport Equipment Manufacturing Factory will be built across Nigeria at the cost of US20M each. One Hundred and Thirty Two Countries will be in Nigeria to be part of boxing history. The FG through the Ministry of Youth & Sports has written to guarantee their safety.
The Nigeria born world boxing champion BASH ALI. OON said meeting the Nigeria Minister of Youth and Sports Development, Mr. Sunday Dare is another eye opener to how some Nigeria politicans have destroyed the country with impunity and has brought Nigeria to her knees with corruption.

The boxing champion Bash Ali said "Your Ministry is supposed to be at par with the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation in generating income for the Federal Government (FG) but, you prefer going to the FG with cap in hand to beg for money. You should from Professional Sport be able to generate $100M minimum per year for the FG. I gave you the blueprint to think outside of the box so your Ministry can be more effective and self-sufficient but because of CORRUPTION & BAD ADMINISTRATION the blueprint is collecting dust. Up Sunday! Up Nigeria!!
Bash Ali also said that Nigeria ranks high in corruption and not in the development of human capital projects because our public office holders have buried their face in shame, they bring themselves first before the citizens whom they sworn to served. They can watch Nigeria loose billions of naira if they can not be bribe with a 100 million naira. Then you wonder why the citizens are still living in poverty with all our resources and great creative innovations.
Bash Ali said "The New York Times says "I am campaigning in vain in Nigeria because I am yet to pull off our fight but very soon the story will change. I turned down 50M Euros to either fight in Germany, Dubai or Saudi Arabia all because I want to fight in my country Nigeria and give her the honor of been in GUINNESS WORLD RECORD BOXING CHAMPIONSHIP ".
Bash Ali said he laughed the minister's claims that the Ministry of youths and sports development only deals with amateur boxers and not professional boxers like him, who has never had an amateur fight. And Sunday Dare, also said the bout being proposed by Bash was a purely business affair which Bash could conveniently champion as a private venture without the support of the Ministry.
Bash Ali said it childish of the minister for youths and sports development sunday Dare to use his lines against him after he wrote him this.
"Sir, I am respectfully asking you for the following within 14 days of the receipt of this letter: Return the N13M you extorted from me from the N28M Court settlement. Call a Press Conference to tell the world that the FG is fully involved in this historic fight and apologize for calling me a FRAUD and take out paid advert to apologize in 4 prominent local and international newspapers and 4 prominent local and international television stations. As directed by President Buhari and as promised on November 4, 2019, call for a meeting with the members of the LOC and tender your resignation as a Minister Sir, FAILURE to comply with these prayers will cause a BLACK Sunday in Nigeria. I don’t want you to take this as a THREAT but as a PROMISE
In the minister's response to the boxer's letter he also wrote The said Pre-Action letter further requests Bash to stop the spreading of false, defamatory and blackmail materials against Mr. Dare through media channels or any other means and tender an apology to Mr. Dare for the reputational damage occasioned by the invidious publication.
Bash Ali who is a world recognized boxing champion has challenged the minister for youths and sports development to go to court if he is sure of himself because he has evidence to back up his claim that Sunday Dare is corrupt.
