Bash Ali is one of the few Nigerians who have made Nigeria proud globally.
The name Bash Ali comes with the acronym "Champion, world champion, record breaker, the fear of Bash Ali is the beginning of wisdom for boxers, the rings even know his footsteps, the world most popular boxer"etc. 
Bash Ali  is the ONLY boxer in the world to win a WORLD BOXING TITLE without first boxing as an AMATEUR. Bash Ali  is the ONLY Boxer in the world to win every Cruiserweight Title "CONCEIVABLE" California, United States Boxing Association (USBA), North America Boxing Federation (NABF), World Boxing Council International (twice)& the current World Boxing Federation Champion. 
Meanwhile, Bash Ali  had his FIRST world title defense in Nigeria on the 5th of Dec 1987, boxing was a dead game  in Nigeria at that time. Bash Ali is that man that resuscitated the game from the dead & became the Redeemer of Boxing in Nigeria. 
On September 9, 2000, the champion was  intimated, and broke down physically & knocked out the then World Boxing Champion, Terry Ray, USA, to win the World Title. Bash Ali became the BLACK MOSES of Boxing because he took Nigeria to the Promise Land of Boxing. 
Nigeria born champion Bash Ali ,has announced that he  wants to be in the Guinness World Record not only as the OLDEST BOXER to fight for a WORLD TITLE but to WIN it.
This singular act of the world champion at his age is beyond human comprehension.
 According to Bash Ali this will make him the GOD OF BOXING in the world. 

Bash Ali truly is an EXTRAORDINARY HUMAN BEING. Whether this unthinkable dreams is possible, only time will tell. But what is sure is that generation yet unborn around the globe will read the Champion's life history and it will be a thing of Glory that the God of boxing is an African, a Nigerian and a legend in the world of boxing.
