The Commissioner for Regional Integration and Diaspora Relations  HON. ADEBOBOYE OLOGBESE paid a courtesy visit to the Ondo State Development and Investment Promotion Agency ONDIPA

Honourable Adeboboye Ologbese who led the team of RIDR top officials which include Director Finance & Admin, Regional integration Mrs Ebiseni Margaret Oladele, Director of Accounts Mr.Dada Emmanuel, deputy Director Regional integration  Mrs Olabode Omowumi Omolayo; to ONDIPA says the purpose of the visit is to join efforts with the ministry to ensure that great success and synergy between both ministries is in line with the policies of His Excellency Oluwarotimi Odunayo Akeredolu led administration of Ondo state.

According to Hon. Ologbese there is need for the ministries to work  together especially on the Ondo State port, because of the great sacrifices put into the project by his Excellency Governor Oluwarotimi Odunayo Akeredolu. which is  also the dream port of all the citizens of Ondo state. 

Hon. Ologbese also said the Ondo state port should be an export zone for Nigeria, as  OSDIPA is a landlord of investments in Ondo state and Nigeria.

According to the commissioner for RIDR the market potential of this port and how to make this port an export driven port in Nigeria is the driving force for this collaboration. 

Hon. Ologbese said, "Take for instance the Lagos port and the congestion, the only way to achieve a decongestion is with ondo state driving the export business". 

The commissioner also said he was on a quest to work towards achieving the desire of the Ondo state government, led by His Excellency Oluwarotimi Akeredolu; to turn Ondo state from being a civil servant state to a commercial hub in South West Nigeria.

The secretary of Ondo state development and  investment promotion agency  ONDIPA   Mr. Emmanuel Omomowo who welcome the commissioner and his team said it is a welcomed development.

He assured the commissioner that OSDIPA is ready to work with the ministry of regional integration and diaspora relations.

According to Mr. Omomowo, OSDIPA has done a lot in terms of the Ondo state port. As the ministry has gotten the Nigerian Ports Authority (NPA) approval and its at the verge of getting the lsdt approval.

The Commissioner for Regional Integration and Diaspora Relations  HON. ADEBOBOYE OLOGBESE and his team were received by the secretary of ONDIPA, the  Director of investment Femi Akarakiri, Head of investment promotion Dr Alonge Richard, Director of Account Mr Otunla Samuel, Other Charges Mr Aliu Mohammed and  Legal Officer Mrs Aladedutire.
