SOME POLITICAL PARTIES DEREGISTERED BY INEC PLEDGES SUPPORT FOR LABOR PARTY PRESIDENTIAL CANDIDATE PETER OBI

Some deregistered political parties by the Independent National Electoral Commission, in 2020 under the aegis of Coalition for Good Governance CGG, has declared their support for the presidential candidate of Labour Party, Mr. Peter Obi.
According to the national chairman of the coalition for good Governance Mr. Okey Chikwendu, said out of the candidates contesting for the 2023 Presidential ticket's only the Labour Party presidential candidate Mr. Peter Obi can stop Nigeria from disintegrating.
According to the Publicity Secretary, Don Anthony Harmattan, the deregistered parties took the decision after carefully studying each presidential candidates to know the most reliable and credible among them.
It could be recalled that INEC deregistered 74 political parties on the ground that they failed to meet constitutional requirements that determine the continuous existence of those political parties in the country, leaving 18 which passed its test in 2020.
However, 15 out of the deregistered political parties says they still have their structures in place, adding that they would all support and work for the success of the former governor of Anambra State.
The statement read,”We have earlier stated that the outcome of the political parties primaries for the presidential ticket and selection of the vice presidential tickets will determine which party we, the Coalition for Good Governance comprising of 15 deregistered political parties and some former presidential candidates would endorse and support for the 2023 presidential election.
Meanwhile, as the wave for a new Nigeria blows across the 36 state and the federal capital, Nigerians and collective bodies are using their resources to mobilized grassroots for the presidential candidate of labour party Mr. Peter Obi.
As many citizens decried the hardship and extreme poverty brought by the APC led administration. A political party who ride to power in 2015 with the slogan of change.
