...Ifeanyi Okowa lauds the activities and sacrifices of the AGM, charges members to drive campaign more into the 8809 wards.

......AGM appeals to the Vice Presidential flag bearer for support on campaign materials and integration at all levels of campaign process  

It was historic on the 9th day of December, 2022 as the PDP Vice Presidential Candidate -  Dr. Ifeanyi Arthur Okowa CON hosted AGM in his Abuja Residence. AGM later paid courtesy visit to Atiku/Okowa campaign office in Abuja.

The visit became necessary and expedient and held barely few hours to the PDP presidential campaign at the Nation's capital.

The Opening remarks presented by the AGM National Leader- Hajia Maryam Atiku Abubakar succinctly captured the purpose of the strategic visit.

The AGM National Chairperson -   Bolanle Aminat Sarumi-Aliyu ( BASA) corroborated the remarks and applauded on behalf of the Movement, the performance of PDP as evidenced from the intensity of the campaign and the  commitment of the incoming vice president towards winning next year's election.  BASA also  thanked Governor Okowa for availing AGM a dignified audience amidst his very busy schedule and political engagements noting that it is a rare opportunity which  AGM will not take for granted.

The chairperson further highlighted the commitment of the AGM across Nigeria with its well over 25 state chapters inaugurated and registered with active membership activities, door to door campaigns  for Atiku/Okowa and the PDP ahead of the general elections in 2023.

AGM according to its national chairperson  is self funded through contributions and donations by members. BASA further appealed that AGM be integrated and harmonised in the campaign itinerary as political foot soldiers whose flare is to work with presidential campaign body during rallies and campaign movements across the federation. Consequently, she requested for vehicles fully equipped with electioneering gadgets and materials to maximise the goal of reaching the nooks and crannies of all units across the Nation to facilitate the victory of Atiku/Okowa presidential election 2023.

She also stated the need for the inclusion of AGM members as collation officers, returning officers, canvassers and observers on election days.

His Excellency Dr. Ifeanyi Okowa while responding and appreciating AGM as a Unifier of all former Aspirants and Candidates lauded their relentless efforts for the success of the victory of PDP in 2023, commended  the sacrifices and plans towards the realization of Atiku/Okowa presidency and charged AGM not to relent in her activities of grassroot mobilization and sensitisation across the 8,809 wards inNigeria.

Governor Okowa  further pledged that AGM  will get the much anticipated and needed support from the campaign body as he had noted all issues raised in the discussion. The session ended with a group photograph.
