The Ondo State Chairman of the Nigeria Democratic Congress (NDC) Hon. Kennedy Peretei has assured the Coalition of Non-Indigenes in the state of full cooperation and partnership as the party mobilizes for victory ahead of the 2027 general elections.

Speaking during a strategic stakeholder meeting at the party Secretariat in Akure, the NDC Chairman kenndy Peretei commended the coalition's proactive mobilization efforts, affirming that non-indigenes form a vital pillar of the party's movement to deliver the Peter Obi and Rabiu Kwankwaso presidential ticket and secure victories for all NDC candidates across Ondo State.
The assurance followed a presentation by the Coalition of Non-Indigenes, led by its executive team and Public Relations Officer, Princess Eigbokhan Orih.

The coalition outlined an early grassroots campaign structure spanning key areas including Idanre, Itaogbolu, Ore, Odigbo, Akoko, Jegele, and various northern diaspora communities across the state. As well as the igbo community.
Highlighting the demographics of the state, coalition leaders emphasized that non-indigenes represent a substantial segment of the agrarian and urban workforce in Ondo State, making early grassroots engagement crucial.

To streamline campaign operations, the group submitted a comprehensive logistics assessment requesting branded T-shirts, caps, banners displaying the party’s updated ballot logo, public address systems, audio jingles, media support, and motorcycles to navigate remote agrarian communities.

Responding to the group's demands, the NDC Chairman praised their enthusiasm and structure, noting that strong dedication is essential for success.
According to him, everything one does, commitment is number one. Where there is commitment, you remind yourself that winners don't quit, and quitters hardly win. "I see that commitment in your faces and in the impressive work you are already doing across the state,"

Addressing the deployment of campaign materials, the Chairman explained that standard political campaigns operate in synergy with candidate structures.

He assured the coalition that as the election cycles progress, nominated NDC candidates for Senate, House of Representatives, and State Assembly will collaborate directly with the non-indigene leadership to supply customized logistics, branded merchandise, and field materials to boost mobilization efforts.
Hon. Peretei reaffirmed the NDC's commitment to inclusive governance, urging the coalition to sustain its outreach across all wards and settlements to build an unbeatable groundwork for the Obi/Kwankwaso presidential campaign and all NDC candidates across Ondo State.
